The mountain
climbing describes of the dangerous sport in the world. This sport takes hours
and days reach the highest point on the mountains. The mountains aspects and
consists of the rock-craft, snow-craft and skiing , all these depends on the
weather. The most important think of this sport is the safety.
Mountaineering
is called Alpinism in European languages which implies climbing with hard for
the high mountain such as Alps. The world alpinist was born in 19th
century and this world refer to climbing for enjoying this sport or for
recreation.
First many
cultures in the past think that who can reach the high point on the mountains
can be near to the gods. Alpine peaks
were reached by the earlier of the 19th so from that moment they called the golden age because it start as
a sport for the mountaineering. In 1573 two persons try to climb the alpinism
mountains however, I Swiss scientist offered a reward for the first person who
climb this mountain but the two persons didn’t reach that high.
In America
the mountaineering focus to exploration many ranges to conquer the mountains to
become popular in the 1800s. In North America in the Colorado Rockies the first
climbing was Edwin James in 1820. The tallest mountain in the Rockies was
climbed by the first person called John C. Frémont. The U.S. military climbed
the tallest mountain in Mexico which was ice mountain.
In South
America in 1879 been explored the Andes mountain and mountains of Ecuador a
person called Whymper who was during an expedition to climbed this two
mountains but was unsuccessful because the difficulty and rugged the mountains.
In Central
Asia was discover the hugest mountains range was called the Himalayas. This
mountain was surveyed by the British Empire for military and strategic reasons.
In 1892 Sir William Martin was the discover for this mountain.
The snow mountains
are the hardest stage to allows the mountaineers walking and required to walk
efficiently over snow and ice. To keep on safety there is a rule for the waling
om the ice such as to attach mountaineers boots to provide traction. Alpine mountains
are snow and have many of snow slopes. The most famous in the mountain are the
snow storms so traveling is very hard for the mountaineering. There are many
things help the climber to catch it like the axe, rope, skis, dagger and
walking stick to keep balanced. Crevasses is the most dangerous thing can faced
the climber because it not always visible to see this cracks, to avoid this
problem the climbers must use the rope system so that to protect themselves
from hazards. Using the crampons and keep space from each other’s to keep the
balancing between them. There is a technique known as Simul-climbing that put
screws on boots to traction on the snow to protect the person from skiing.
The terrain
is the first thing the mountaineering cares about because he must use the right
equipment to this mission to travel. The climbers have to look for the shelter
on the mountains depends on the weather their so camping to have rest because
some of the mountains take many days to reach the highest point. In some
mountains they keep Base camps on it because this mountains are very tall and
hard to reach it in one day so they do this camps to have a rest and continue
it.
In the
alpine regions mountains, camping there are very difficult for the mountaineers
so the easy thing there are the Tents on the mountains because it small and
easy to carry on mountaineers back but
the avalanches and storms can do a disaster for this simple
shelters so they try to found the hut to
protect them from the storms, avalanches even the predatory animals there can
be danger for the mountaineers.
Mountaineering
didn't care about the safety on the mountain and many of people go to climb the
mountain and didn't come back and no one know about them so the government put
rules for this activity for the people that they have to tell the police to
look after them after few days if they didn’t come back because maybe they have
problem or lost on the mountains.
In the same
activity there is a similar to it called wall climbing and the same rules for
it moreover a wall can be build it from the rock or anything similar because
the climber must train his hand and foot for the same factors of terrain before
the real climb. The wall have many holes to catch it but these holes are in the
write place that let the climber go up easily but in the mountains he must
drill his own holes to climb up. Some people climb on the walls because it more
safety than the mountains but the others didn’t see the great challenge in it
but the challenge in the walls is who can reach the end in less time but in the
mountains who can reach the highest point. The walls are more safety because
the climber stand by a rope from the end but the climber in the mountain must
hang his body by the rocks to keep the body balanced from fell down.
You would be
wise to concentrate on the gym first before you try this sport because the main
point for doing this sport to have strong muscles and high flexibility although
some time you have to jump from rock to other to continue your travel there.
Finally,
this sport are one of the most dangerous activity I saw it in this world. This
activity want a person didn’t scared from high places and have strong muscles.
Tring every day and running is the main thing for this sport. The wall climbing
is the first thing must the climber think about it to train then out door
climbing when he see himself can do it, the safety is one of the most important
think in any movement want to started because if you want to do something write
you must didn’t heart you self. I would recommend anyone to try this sport to
have the safety first then train in indoor climbing before the outdoor and the
good this to do this sport that you didn’t go alone because the group work can
done before the single wok and hope for everyone to reach the end point
safely.
